Paris - The City of Light

Last night for the first time in decades, we took the evening bateaux mouches ride up and down the Seine. We always recommend this boat ride but hadn't done it ourselves in quite a while. It really is worth it.

The highlight is really the Eiffel Tower lit up at night.

Bonnie and Amy sprung for Champagne for us. Nice way to enjoy the boat ride.

Enjoying a cool night on the Seine.

Riding under the illuminated bridges is so cool.

Napoleon applied his own finishing touches to some of the bridges.

And  you can't beat the monuments and churches that are lit up at night.

We capped off the evening at Notre Dame to enjoy a choir recital.

A choir of young kids, aged 8-13, from the U.K. entertained us for an hour.

And we snuck under the gargoyles on our way back to the apartment.
